I have same problem as KingSirMrCaptain, except only with items I add myself. The ones that came with the addon work as intended.

I would really love to have this addon updated to work with added items too. I really love what it does, seeing the number go up makes farming for materials so much more fun!
And if possible, it'd be neat to be able to access and edit a list of items you add yourself, in case of typos etc.

Add-On Not updating.

As of 8/6/2023 I have not been able to get anywhere with this add-on. I have the LibbAddon-2.0 library installed and selected in game, but the only thing that is being registered in the add-on is the total gold I have and nothing else. Nothing is updating, and I am not sure what I am missing exactly. Tried restarting the game and still did not get anything to update. Any help would be appreciated.

Re: slot update event and split stack

recent update changes to loot received, the reason for using slot update before... i believe... was because of fish and the way i was getting item type

let me know if the recent update helps the following issues you had

main: Will note for future updates.
1: color option "should" be required, white is an option... will verify that/update if not
2: something seems to be going on with custom items not tracking, havent been able to replicate issue yet
3: havent used the item log in a long while, will look at this
4: um, hmm i use similar inventory methods as others, it should add your backpack and craft bag together, mine does...

reasons for most issues are the code rewrite, i am currently working intently on some other mods, and will loop back to this one shortly

Also, for editing items, you can pull up your saved variables and are rather easy to edit or remove from there, for now if need be. be sure your logged out before messing with variables though or the game will overwrite your changes

Removing a custom item

May I suggest to separate custom itens on their own group and adding a button to remove/exclude that item? That would be really useful in case you entered a wrong code or the code for another item instead of the one registered and you want to Edit/Correct it, even if it means removing and registering it again.

i will experiment with those items and find the issue, but as far as the reordering goes, .. that may be here for a while, in the new coding i named the keys instead of numbering them and lua doesnt retain order in non numbered keys. i just noticed the order issue today myself. i could fix this, but the recent changes are already converting the old methods to these and it would be a bug feast with doing it again with people updating from different versions.. i have an idea for an easy workaround, it will still reorder them but i will try to have that reorder constrained to the categories.

Thanks, I will look into it, the issue is in a function that imports the data for old users before the changes, so they dont have to re enter items they added, i failed to test a new user scenario, will do now
