Hi Psiioniic,

I was going to check this mod out, but was wondering about LibStub inclusion. They have this on their description page...

Code:
If you are using an addon which still relies on LibStub, either ask the author to remove it or you just need to live with it.

Addon Authors: LibStub is no longer needed if you plan to write a new library.
The game can manage the versioning itself, so just write your library like you would any other addon and make sure you add the "IsLibrary" and "AddOnVersion" directive.
So...I was attempting to be informative here? You know, passing along info...part of the community...giving back. Thank you and I hope this is received in the manner in which I intended.

Instructions

I can kind of guess at what the different stats you are showing me mean, but maybe some arrows or a more detailed explanation would be useful. I find the addon intriguing.

I agree. I'm assuming the closer to 0ms we are, the better and that a negative value on the bottom indicates firing the skill or LA too early before skill cooldown ended.

Fascinating and unique tool as far as I know. I hope to see this explained more and to watch for any enhancements the community may invent.

Well done!

Re: Re: Instructions

thanks for your feedback!

The negative numbers come from how the game can queue actions for a little time, even when e.g. a LA is cast before the global cooldown has ended is will still be registered, so in principle the sum of the two values would be a reasonable quantity which should be as small as possible. I think in future I will change it in a way those numbers are displayed such that instead of the bottom number as now (time LA - (time of skill cast + cooldown)) to be (time skill - (time of previous skill cast + cooldown)), that is probably more useful.
Or make it customizable if there are other ideas as well.

This addon is great! A few feature requests:
  • ability to style the font, size, color, background, position, etc. of all elements
  • show/hide certain elements
  • toggle to only show in battle
  • toggle to show/hide action bar-attached elements (like the info window currently has)

The data bar does not seem moveable which sort of makes sense as it lines up with the skill bar.

When shown it bumps up the Attribute bars which is sort of fine but for me I now have an overlapping problem.

and without addon,

The Buffs shown in my images are a Vanilla UI option in Settings, Combat, Buffs and Debuffs. Maybe you could think to Bump this up too if enabled. Thanks

Hi, thanks for the report, do you use ActionDurationReminder?
I can add a setting to make it movable or try to move the buff bar up if that's possible, I'll check!

Yes I do use ActionDurationReminder and when I swap bar and there is still an active buff it shows it above the now active skill choices and it does also bump up the Attribute bars.

Note: I confirm in the first image the space below your bar is used by the ActionDurationReminder bar.

Nice idea, takes up too much screen real estate.

Personally, I think the last version was perfect. I had moved the data bar right where it needed to be to make sense and it worked beautifully.

I'm not being antagonistic, but what was the reasoning behind this change?

The reasoning is to work together with some other addons, e.g. Bandits or Action Duration Reminder.
Probably depending on how those addons are configured, it might waste some space which is not nice (e.g. when BUI is enabled, but skill duration tracking is turned off).
I'll add some options to turn off the detection of other addons and to tune the vertical position.
Thanks for your feedback!

One thing I did notice, is that although I can move the main bar, I cannot move the data bar, so it is where it was before - not sure if that is helpful or not.

in version 0.4.6 you can now move the bar vertically, and also disable each of the three bars individually if you are short on screen space or don't need the uptime tracker.
Let me know if that helps!

in version 0.4.6 there are some additional settings added to move the default UI health bar
The settings that should work for your case are e.g.
Detect Action Duration Reminder: on
Reposition default UI health bar: on
Raise default UI health bar: 28

Let me know if that helps!

Fancy Action Bar

I see support for Action Duration Reminder but Fancy Action Bar is becoming a more widely used action bar addon. Any plans for adding a supporting layout?
