Doesn't show numbers and percentage

Hey

I absolutely love AUI and have used it for a while (and shall continue to do so).

I am usingESO's own combat settings to show percentage and numbers on my own and enemies health bars etc.
When I use AUI unit frames this info is however removed and it only shows the bars with no such info.

I have gone through all settings, but can't seem to find anywhere to change it so the AUI unit frames also shows it.

is this something I can do? If not is it something you can change?
I really would like to use the unit frames as well, but am too used to seeing numbers and percentage to use it without.

Thanks for creating an amazing addon

Recent Problem

Which LibStub do we need? My UI went nuts when I installed 2.601b with LibMediaProvider 1.0. I couldn't even use ESC to get to log out. I tried to get a screenshot, but that was screwed too. Finally was able to close game from outside. Will shut off all other mods from Char Sel but need to be sure I am set up correctly.

Thanks for your good work.

Ok, with everthing else off, and out of date allowed. needed: LibAddonMenu-2.0 (OoD), LiMediaProvider-1.0 (OoD), and LibStub (current) and all loaded by Minion from LibMediaProvider.

Everything seems to be working correctly atm. Will now start adding back my regular mod load to see what breaks what. Will post here when I figure it out.

Thanks again for your work.

Hi,

first I need to tell you, that I have not created that addon. Sensi is the origin author, I just provided a couple of fixes to keep it running with newer versions of ESO.

At the moment I'm little bit confused about your problem description, because I did not combine any other addon or vanilla behaviour with AUI and need your help to understand what you want to tell me

A screenshot could be helpful for me to get your request right

Thank you and regards

If you use Minion you can install Libstub directly there as standalone addon. But I think that may not solve your problem.

Please take a look into interface.log inside the Logs folder of your Elder Scrolls Online/live directory and check if there are any stacktraces or other helpful error messages.

Thank you and regards

Is this a standalone addon (copy of AUI) or do I need to have the original AUI installed as well?

Can I see a list of AUIs to install in order to get the "package"?

Recent Problem

I posted my results as an edited addon to my original post. The Lib I loaded appeared as a note in the Add-ons window.

As you can see in the first pic then it shows the netch has 31.4 K health and has 100% of its health. It also shows on my own health bar that I have 14 K health and 100%.

Then when I turn on AUI unit frames it doesn't show this info as you can see in this picture here

Until now I had no problems using AUI and still seeing that info.
Hope the screenshots helps, I had to add links as it wouldn't add the pictures here

It is the original AUI (Version 2.598) plus fixes for Wolfhunter, Murkmire and Wrathstone.

You should remove the original and install the new version 2.601b or newer.

Ok, now I see

As far as I know, the AUI version of health bar has worked properly, but I will double check this.

Meanwhile you can check the interface.log in the Elder Scrolls Online/live/Logs directory for errors containing stack tracebacks, which could indicate where the wrong behaviour is coming from. In case of you can find some, please copy & paste all lines of the errors.

Please also provide me the version of AUI you are using atm, in case of you already told, sorry, but there are many bug reports I have readen today

Thank you and best regards

Hello,

do you have any other previous error in logs? This should be only a subsequent error caused by some other one.

Best regards

Ok thank you for your investigation and detailed report. I have installed this libs as standalone addons using minion because they are needed by other addons, therefore I did not noticed a problem. I will add a notice to next release.

Thank you in advance

Thank you for reporting, this error is caused by the one with stacktrace user:/AddOns/AUI/modules/minimap/Pin.lua:10: table index is nil. If this one by Kestrelator is fixed, this will be fixed, too.

But it is annoying, because this error occured before version 2.601 and was the cause of why I provided version 2.601. Please show me line 10 of Pin.lua (see my other post).

Thank you and regards
I wasn't sure which line was line 10, so gave a few more lines. One thing I noticed is that I don't think I have been to the the Imperial City yet... Could this be the problem?

local isInit = false
local pinManager = nil
local playerPin
local imperialCityMapIndex = GetImperialCityMapIndex()
local ObjectiveContinuous = {}

local mapsWithoutQuestPins =
{
[MAPTYPE_WORLD] = true,
[MAPTYPE_ALLIANCE] = true,
[MAPTYPE_COSMIC] = true,
}

local function AUI_MapPin_AddQuestTask(questIndex)
--DebugMessage--
if AUI_DEBUG then
AUI.DebugMessage("AUI_MapPin_AddQuestTask")
end
--/DebugMessage--

if(ZO_WorldMap_IsPinGroupShown(MAP_FILTER_QUESTS)) then
local assisted = GetTrackedIsAssisted(TRACK_TYPE_QUEST, questIndex)

Thank you for your efforts!

AUI Ver. 2.601b
Hi,

this is strange. I cannot reproduce this. I disabled Minimap in Settings -> Addons -> AUI (module settings), then reload and relog and stopped ESO and started again. All of the time I could not see this error.

But I remember I saw this error before 2.601 in version 2.600.

Can you please open Addons/AUI/modules/minimap/Pin.lua in your favourite editor (such as notepad or NotePad++, etc) and copy & paste line 10 of that file here?

Best regards
Sorry about the delay in replying. Here's Line 10:
Code:
local function AUI_MapPin_AddQuestTask(questIndex)
I should mention that I do NOT use the AUI Minimap. I've removed both AUI programs and reinstalled (the basic, plus your latest patch), but the error remains. Wish I could be more help!
