Modified Version of LorePlay by Calamath

Description:
This is a modified version of Justinon's LorePlay add-on, distributed under the Artistic License 2.0 as same as the standard version.
See the description of the standard version below for general LorePlay features.

https://www.esoui.com/downloads/info...tsandmore.html

Needed libraries/dependencies:
YOU NEED TO INSTALL THE FOLLOWING LIBRARY SEPARATELY.
- LibAddonMenu (Version 2.0r32 or later)

Modification details:
- Forked from Justinon's standard version 1.5.1
- Removed embedded LibStub and LibAddonMenu-2.0 libraries, you now need to have LibAddonMenu-2.0 separately.
- Major Revamp of LoreWear Feature
- LoreWear now support for four non-English language modes: DE, FR, JP and RU
- Support for following DLCs and Chapters: Clockwork City, Summerset, Murkmire, Elsweyr, Dragonhold, Greymoor, Markarth , Blackwood and Deadlands.

- [COMPATIBILITY-BREAKING CHANGE]
The various zone and city recognitions have been rewritten to a brand-new identifier based approach by Calamath.
As the result, the boundaries of whether the add-on recognizes cities may be slightly different from the standard version.

[LoreWear 2.0]
- Complete transition to Calamath's new outfit change algorithm.
- Five optional outfit preset slots with versatility, in addition to the existing four basic slots.
- Option to register as an alternative preset for your favorite outfits.
- New shortcut key to switch today's prefered clothes from your multiple outfit presets.
- Optional support for changing costumes according to riding, fighting and swimming.
- Support for outfit system introduced by Dragonbone DLC.

Instruction:
- If you want to run this modified version, you'll need to replace the standard version of LorePlay by Justinon.
Therefore, it is strongly recommended that you use minion to create a backup with save data, or save the backup manually.

Comments from the author:
I think Justinon's originality Lore Play has some cool ideas. One of my favorite is a location-based event-driven.
That's why I was disappointed that some features of the current standard version didn't work well in non-English modes.

DISCLAIMER:
With the current game specs, it is not easy for the Eso UI to recognize if your avatar is in a city or not, unlike the players themselves.
Also, this type of processing will need to be updated every time they introduce a new area by the future DLCs or Chapters.
I'm not responsible for any future maintenances. But it's better than leaving it buried this cool add-on.

Very unfortunately, the answer is no.

As a matter of fact, Calamath had initially planned to develop another add-on that should be a companion version of Lore Wear,
such as matching the companion's costume to the player occasionally based on rapport,
or having each companion wear a single outfit within the same account.

However, due to the design policy of ZOS,
changing the appearance of the companion is limited to when the player manually interacts with the companion menu.

This means that add-ons cannot usually change the appearance of the companion automatically.

We will consider this again in the future when the ZOS design policy changes.

I understand Calamath, in any case thanks anyway for looking into it

Release note : V1.6.84

In the new Blackwood chapter, LorePlay faced technical challenges in terms of both compatibility and functionality.
As a result, this release focuses on maintaining functionality. No new features have been implemented.

I think some of you have found various possibilities related to companion feature.
However, for example, there are the following problems, and the solutions are not finalized.

Prior to Update 30:
You cannot summon a non-combat pet and an assistant at the same time;
if you have both as favorites in LoreWear, either the non-combat pet or the assistant will appear randomly.

Since Update 30:
You will be able to summon a non-combat pet and an assistant at the same time.
And, you cannot summon an assistant and a companion at the same time.
Every time you summon an assistant or companion, the previous ones will leave.

[known issue]
If you have registered your favorite assistant in LoreWear,
please note that the companion you are summoning may leave every time you move between zones or cross a city boundary.

If you don't like it, change the settings as follows
1) LorePlay Addon settings -> LoreWear -> Management Range
2) Turn off 'Use favorite assistants'.

Thanks for your comments.
Your request has been added to the wishlist.
very interesting because of the wide variety of ways people are using the add-on features.

Hello, could it be possible to add a different combat outfits for each preset? I would have liked to use this for creating separate combat outfit for dungeons by adding helmet from collectibles to dungeon preset, but currently I can't do this without altering my adventuring preset in combat. And I would have liked to add a few changes for adventuring preset in combat as well.

That option allows you to choose whether to allow costume changes while you are using the wayshrine to open the map and choose your destination.

It was an option regarding a very limited situation granted by the original author in LorePlay, I'm leaving it in to maintain compatibility.

You would not need to be nervous about this option.
I was just asking because I took the option to prevent to change the outfit at wayshrines and it still does

Re: Re: Include Rest of the Emotes?

Ah I understand... Also thanks for the quick replay

I Must say it's great to see LorePlay being adopted and supported, this is the best addon <3

Hello, Manny_Calavera!
At this time, Idle Emotes do not use special emotes purchased from the store.
Your request will be added to the wish list.
Supporting this will be considered positively as it can contribute to the sales of the store.

Anything users can do from their side to add these emotes?
Unfortunately, there is currently no UI for customizing Idle Emotes tables.
I know that there were many requests to customize the Idle Emotes tables during the original Lore Play era, so if there are still many such requests, it may be considered.
Either way, you have to wait for the Idle Emotes revamp.
