Just wanted to say that the large game map was broken for me too but i am using the 2.67 version still. I had to relog so i think it was either a game relative problem or internet.
i could not use door and when i wanted to jump to a wayshrine, the map was irresponsive.
So may be it was not Minimap ? (just in case)

My player Pin is always facing north, no matter how I am really facing or running toward, why? (Rotate Map is OFF)
The only mode that does that is rotation, pin style may only change between player-camera heading, but you get the player pin rotated in north facing mode.

When I go to look at other maps through it, it acts as though its viewing the current one I'm in. The built-in game's pins will show up fine but addon ones will usually show the ones for the current...

Would it be possible to allow us to set colors for the different water types? That way I can quickly spot where there's clusters of Foul fishing spots, for instance.
Technically yes, but it would require a signifficant restructure. Would need additional pin type(s), additional info and a way to store it.

I am not sur its related to Minimap, but since the today maintenance, i have noted some weird placement of the player on the map. (before the maintenance, i never ever had this problem).
In Coldharbour, while i am into the city, i appear in the wild dark area

Just got these every 2-3 seconds lag at Deshaan today again, so it's also happening outside of dungeons.
I've tested Minimap as standalone addon now and it seems to have no problem then.
Minimap + Destinations is running smooth too.
I enabled all addons afterwards and it was running smooth too.
So far to the test which addon it...

I just got a strange performance drop, or mini-lags every 2 seconds, inside the Aetherian Archive.
It started as we ran upstairs at the beginning.
As long as Minimap was activated the lags were there.
As I deactivated it and diid a reloadui the lags were gone.
Activated the minimap again and the lags were there again.
