1. Player pin already had different color and higher layer.
2. There is a button to center map to the player.
3. MapPins adds pins and does no changes to default ones.

No such option.
the only bars that are colored and visible are the attribute bars. The curved bars aren't visible (no color) nor are the meters and the checkboxes in the settings menu aren't visible either.

Gimp let me do it, recognising the format. Now chests are golden for me, which helps a ton, really. I'll probably give everything else a bit of a colorization too.
Chests and some other pins are colored by code. Blue thieves troves, green chests found by player, for example. So .dds must be b&w.

is there a plan to make the addon remember what armor/weapons belong to what setup even if the item is no longer in your inventory (say banked or on an alt).
Addon remember items and can withdraw them from any storage.

MapPins does not duplicates underground pins for the surface. And never did such things. If you lost skyshard you can simply open map, click on corresponding link at zone guide and know where it is.

Bandits UI contains: DPS on minimeter, DPS near reticle, DPS meter, group DPS, DPS statistics and NO "bars". So, I have no idea what you mean.

I installed BUI 4.308 and see that I have no skill bar or quickslots. I have tried turning it on in combat--> ability bar--> always show with no luck and I have tried deleting every addon and just enabling BUI with no luck.

You can:
- create new character
- discover the books that is not in the map
- take its coords and name (but do not read the book)
- post missed books here

Compared to Lorebooks addon, this does not show all possible locations for a single book, check Abah's Landing for instance, it shows only 1 location for "Flesh to Cut from Bone".
You are capable to change this.
Also, having ability to change pin size would be nice.
