Same thing is happening to me! I have to enter settings to disable the addon, otherwise I'm stuck with this error message that simply won't go away.
I got this error 450 times after eating the cake on my alt, and then again when interacting with the daily writ boxes.

Hi! This add-on is very handy, but as previously mentioned by someone else, the settings are not available. I have tried everything, but they won't show up. The add-on works just fine though, but the warning appears in the upper left corner, so it's practically invisible as it's behind the experience bar. I hope you find a way to fix...

I keep getting a UI error message every time I exit a room/dialogue/activity regarding this add-on, have to keep it disabled to avoid it.. (and yes, I've made sure there's not any other add-ons that might cause this)
