Make sure, ingame at the character selection, before loading into the game: At the bottom left you'll find the addons list for all and single selected toons.

But isn't there a "use crown items" settings entry already which sets the addon to do so (or similar).
I need to check that again as I'm not the original addon developer.
I found myself wanting this add-on to use up the crown versions before the non-crown versions of soul gems and repair kits....

I had the more simple mule accounts situation in mind. Like when you run out of char slots, buy another account, and then need to transfer items between account. I guess people just log in and don't even realize the savedvars can get corrupted (I had no idea it could happen even though it makes a lot of sense), only most of the time...

Okay, as explained you can move the FCOIS marker icons on x and a bit on y axis at the inventory.
You find such possibillity at the FCOIS settings menu, I think it should be at the submenu "Icons" and then below the submenu "Icon position, sort, etc." and then in teh submenu "Icon position & size".
