I was using over 1 gigabyte of addon memory (according to TEB - normally I sit around 200MB) so that was a bit silly but I guess understandable with the amount of writs I had listed. What is TEB?

The mod clears that out itself without you having to do anything. This mod is not abandon but it doesn't need to be maintained either and nobody really needs to be messing with it. The original author did a really good job but also, this mod uses other libraries for set information and LibLazyCrafting. So none of the code has even ch...

So I have dug enough to determine when you are in Gamepad mode and you force it to be active using the settings shown above then i...

Thanks for that reply. Just to clarify, are you saying that WritWorthy works in gamepad mode with the Grand Master Crafting Stations? What do you recommend I do? Should I post my initial comment with your reply at one of Dolgubon's addons? Which one? Thanks for helping and for all your work on these addons.I don't have the error...

Re: Re: Re: Gamepad UI Error
Posted By: Sharlikran
I have a keybind to open the writ worthy ui which allows me to use a mouse and keyboard to work with that ui. but when I go to a crafting station it uses gamepad mode since I have that setting to 'always on'. It used to work with individual set stations. no doubt there would be automation limitations in gamepad mode. Thought I'd post...

I don't have that error and I made sure I had writs in my bank I could craft. I made sure I had one in the bank that I couldn't make. This just boils down to users using Minion or the mod as a crutch. U40 just came out and from what I can see LibLazyCrafting, LibSets, LibCharacterKnowledge have been updated. I keep LibStub free copie...

Mimic Stones
Posted By: Sharlikran
It's best to understand that the original author really did a great job and this is pretty well written. I have not changed enough to affect mimic stones in any way. I looked at the settings and there is nothing in WW to set whether or not use use a Mimic Stone so mentioning it here isn't really helpful as the mod doesn't have th...

The original author ziggor has told me they used libraries instead of hard coded values so there is nothing to add to this mod when each patch comes out. Any remaining remnants left in the code by the original author are unused because the libraries take care of that.

Re: Missing Quest Markers?
Posted By: Sharlikran
Hi there, I'm noticing that some quests aren't showing. I've tried toggling all the filters on and off and some of the starters just aren't there. Specifically noticing with Bera Moorsmith in Marbruk who wants me to go talk to the Fighter's Guild Master and Arch-Mage Shalidor who is also in Marbruk and is trying to get me to g...

I did nothing sir. I have no clue how code and this Github thing works. I just use the addon commands /lbpos and /lbfake when I can help. :(That post was not directed at you. I'm not criticizing anything you did or complaining about you in any way. You are providing information that's useful. I post things as a note and it may not...

What I meant with "no coordinates"...
Posted By: Sharlikran
What I meant with "no coordinates" is the addon doesn't tell us where we can find this book. I just found it in a bookshelf in Apocrypha, that's all ^^Exactly, I'm just clarifying that is intended or should be expected. There are no coordinates for anything you find in a bookshelf and you will not be given coordinates from the add-on.

Vastyr Fisherfolk Song
Posted By: Sharlikran
Searching for this I noticed something. Vastyr Fisherfolk Song appears twice. So the name is wrong or the book ID is wrong. This is why I don't feel it's a good idea to add empty place holders. = { = false, = "Archipelago Books and Almanacs", = "Vastyr Fisherfolk Song", = { } }, They don't need to be remo...

There's no coordinates for it in the addon and I found "Vastyr Fisherfolk Song" in a bookshelf in Quires Wind, Apocrypha. But it was released with Firesong DLC so I think we can also find it in Galen somewhere. Edit : same with "Y'ffelon, the Forbidden Island"Just using Y'ffelon, the Forbidden Island as an example, what is in the...

Well I'm just doing trial and error on the field. Since Imperial City Bookshelves are way less known than any other zones' bookshelves. No worries, just letting you know you don't have to get very specific with that.

And if a book also does have, in addition to all of that, a specific location, you just need to enter the coordinates under . E is only used when it is a physical book. Meaning, not a bookshelf. As mentioned already even if a bookshelf seems to have only one book when you open it then that's fine, it has one book. Don't put that und...

I was talking about IC Bookshelves because there's almost no info on it in internetn so I try to understand how they work. If I still get the same books tomorrow, It'll be 3 days in a row and so safe to assume it's hardcoded to be 1 book only.Remember Zenimax does not need certain routines for things like you are discussing. There is...

@desertforce, reporting the updated lorbook information
Posted By: Sharlikran
The example you provided for book 7771 = { = { = 0.9339132121, = 0.4180644017, = 2305, = true, = 0.9337532095, = 0.4190540044, = 2274, }, }, The update is the preferred way to do that. However, the old way isn't necessarily wrong or incorrect. That's all that is required for the GitHub entry as opposed...

BUT, it does not explain HOW to send that screenshot. Should it be posted publicly or privately? For the screenshot that's a restriction of this website. @JLE, Giant Warning
Posted By: Sharlikran
For instance, to give a particularly egregious example: The book "Giant Warning" is listed, and shown, in no less than five Public Dungeons. @JLE, Contradictory statements about reporting

I mean, at one place, it says "To report a book that is not in the indicated location, install Map Coordinates and then get me a screen shot of where you are standing and the name of the book so I can remove it." And then only in the next paragraph, "Plesae do not report any missing Lorebooks or incorrect locations. Refer to the n...

I never had any icons for bookshelves in the map in years, even tho they're activated. What could I have done wrong ? There have never been bookshelf icons. The UI simply tells you that you can randomly find a book reading a bookshelf. The UI being the lore library after you press J to open the quest journal, and then click the Lore...
