I would really appreciate a method to alter the appearance of the bars (start color, end color, border color, font etc. ) and have those changes saved in saved variables, rather than having to manually do it every update.

Unless you have backups, not much can be done usually. If the size of CombatMetricsFightData.lua is only a few KB, the data is gone already.
Ye,that means i need to make backup of my files by using Minion.
However on other my addons i dont lose any dat...

As title says, whats the * beside some abilities in the lower right section of combat metrics main page listing abilities used during fight?
It's indicating if the Ability is flagged as a DoT in the API. That said it doesn't mark every Ability one would consider a DoT (like AoE Dots for example)

so i did as you advised me too had only CMX and its Libs installed nothing else, and the lags still occured i wish it was my connection but my ping isnt spiking at all, its just goes into those wierd half freezes where i can move but cant cast or Light attack, i freshly reinstalled it too

this is the best addon i found to track off-balance as a dd. a huge green bar in the middle of my screen so i dont miss it anymore :) I also use it with my tank to keep track of taunts. thank you for the great addon.

Yes, since both add to your penetration value which is read from the API.
If they'd lower target resistance it would require some work.

Hi! I noticed that the addon sometimes doesn't react to taunt and such properly. I know i taunted the boss (ex. dungeon) and the progressive bar doesn't appear. I need to taunt several times before it does.
This doesn't happen all the time, but it's kind of annoying. Thought you should know.

Yeah, unfortunately I haven't found a way to get the enemy Id yet. It would require to build a database on mouse over or something, but thats beyond the scope of CMX ...
