Ok, some good news. If you unlock Eidetic Memory normally through the Mage Guild questline, it will of course unlock the Eidetic memory, and the lorebooks will appear on your map again. So not all is lost, just kind of have to go the long way through.
Okay, but what is with exist Chars? That "Workaround" wont work.
