It would be really awesome to be able to add in some criteria around how "active" a guild member has been. For example: Promote to this rank if they've been a member for at least 30 days, but also have logged in within the past 2 weeks. I have no intention of adding any features which take 'activity' into account as you describe it....

What I would really love is if more regular NPC's were added. Scarlet-Ibis' "Guard, Orc" and "Bloodfiend, Dark elf" are especially nice for not looking like cutouts when you walk around them. BUT, I'll take what I can get. Imagination can do much, but visuals help. To work around that, what I do is set the NPC to an "effect gr...

Using the latest version. I restored from an auto backup made after I went into the home, and a great number of my FX ended up a million miles away from where they were (off the map, below ground, etc.). Custom books, lighting, etc. I don't have much information on how to reproduce it, but thought I give you a heads up on it. T...

What is the point of having a key binding for a function and then showing that damn key binding and button on the screen? Deleted the addon. Triggered? Seriously? That is what made you delete the add-on? lol. Not very constructive. The addon author(s) have historically been very open to suggestions, bug reports, etc. Not sure w...

More transparency issues

This seems to happen in many scenarios involving text, but, I used the wooden plank decoration and some text to make a sign. https://www.picflash.org/viewer.php?img=1UVQM7E.png Looks great until I move to the right (moving to the left is fine). https://www.picflash.org/viewer.php?img=2G40ZDO.png https://www.picflash.org/v...

Concerning this new button, I have some doubt. I may not understand the need or why it was implemented, so dont be mad at me please. When i visit a house, if i want to know how to/with what an element was made, i simply email the owner. I take the time to tell the person how i love the house and that i would enjoy to be able to k...

Hi i've been using the water effects and the steam effect to create this steam rising from water effects but the steam has this clear panel around it and it is clipping into the water effect and canceling the water effect, is there a way to fix this? https://ibb.co/CttDwNc https://ibb.co/CttDwNc Yeah, same thing happens when vie...

Re: Re: Trigger concept

Given the arguably necessary permission-based nature of ESO's Housing it would be impossible for guests to run triggers in your home without first granting them Decorator access, as you are aware. Cardinal and I have spoken regarding this topic more than once and we both drew the same conclusion. Given that few players are likely...

Triggers do work for the home owner and decorators. But triggers are not shared. So the decorators have to define the same triggers/selections/etc. as the home owner in order to provide the same effects to the visitors. I didn't know that decorators could make triggers of their own, in someone else's home. But again, if *cer...

Trigger concept

+1 for the day/night trigger conditions! One thing I thought of, and I've no idea if this is even possible, but ... the obvious use-case for the day/night triggers would be to turn on lights during the evening, and off during the day. However, it got me thinking. I know triggers currently only operate when the homeowner is actuall...

Issue with NPC dialogue
Posted By: marneman
One thing I just noticed about dropping an NPC into the area, though. When I first walk up to them, I get their dialogue with the "Bob NPC:" prefixed. If I run out of the immediate area, and then back into it, the next time they say it, it doesn't have it. I still think the "NPC" should be removed from the prefix, though. It al...

Decotrack issue
Posted By: marneman
Just to add to what manwoodsal said in their post below ... I am having the same issue. Happens outside of the homes as well. My error is similar to the one manwoodsal posted below. And since Decotrack is the last "tab" that was open in the housing hub, whenever you open the hub, you can't close the window. /reloadui was all I could...

Keep getting an error when I try and move items https://i.ibb.co/Thnfxjb/Screenshot-20201005-175536.png Not happening for me on this latest release, but I don't have grids enabled (based on the error, it looks like you might have them enabled). Try disabling them and see?

Difference between force fields?
Posted By: marneman
I was playing around with some of the various animations. I notice that the "Force Field, Barrier" will prevent you from moving through it ... pretty cool! If you run into the force field it will knock you down lol. Though you can roll dodge through it hahaha. Q: What is the difference between the other two force fields? "Force Fi...

Triggers will work properly for you and your guests provided you are in the housing zone with them. If you aren't there, they won't work. This is indeed correct and thank you. The reason for this is that EHT must actually "see" the triggering event and then it performs the corresponding action on your behalf. Actually the trigg...

We had discussed the possibility of adding time-based trigger criteria. I will bring this up with Cardinal again when I next speak with him. It would just be cool do things like turn lights on at night, off during the day, etc.

So if i understand well, if i wish to have the trigger working for either me or the guest, i have to duplicate the trigger and replace guest by owner or me right ? Triggers will work properly for you and your guests provided you are in the housing zone with them. If you aren't there, they won't work.

Re: Where do (did) animation save data get stored?
Posted By: marneman
My hard drive died back in February, and I'm just returning to ESO after a long absence. I've managed to pull the data from the EHT addon in the folder and updated the addon, however, all of the animation data is absent when I enter the house now. It was a crazy amount of animation data (at least for me) and I'd rather not have to...

Re: conditions for triggers
Posted By: marneman
I was wondering if it was possible to add a condition : - if a guest arrive - and it is day ... (or it is night) .... to allow lights to switch on or off depending of the time of the visit. Some houses do not need to have lights during the day, and having those lights all day long is sometimes strange. This is jus...

Thanks to StabbityDoom for assuring that players get screwed over by ZOS faulty housing permissions! Cardi - I love you, but did you even consider that if housing permissions get changed (by the game!) then our homes go POOF from Community? Or is this just a way to make sure Stabby can't see home she can't visit? I didn't think...

Changing animated NPC sliders causes cosmetic issue
Posted By: marneman
Just noticed another weird thing. I placed one of the animated mercenary NPC characters and when you change their saturation and other sliders, they start behaving very strangely. Like multiple frames of the animation seen at once or something. Actually, I don't even think you have to touch the sliders, as it just happened when I...

Re: Possible trigger bug

Adding to one of my earlier issues quoted below: So I have a trigger that has a single criteria component, it just listens for someone to say a certain word in chat (say, yell, etc). It works for me, but it doesn't seem to work for anyone else unless I'm in the housing area with them. That trigger criteria says that it can be t...

FINAL UPDATE: Disregard all of this. OMG. I am so embarrassed. I was out of drive space lol. So the update was likely just retrying, or it failed silently and Minion handled the failure in a non-graceful manner. For anyone else in the future: - I freed up some space - Put my originally corrupted copies of EssentialHousingTo...
