Of course it could be done, but if you need this information, you may use Rare Fish Tracker. This addon shows you which fish can be catched per type.

the error is coming from an out-dated LHAS* in Research Timer. I guess Harven has overseen it, because of his small add-on list. ;)

You can copy a newer version from Harven's Potion Alert. Or simply use one of his recent updated add-ons, too. Or "Harven's AS to LAM adapter"....

I talked to @Criscal and gave him a lib to do so ;)
He just needs to complete his tests in QuickEnchanter, because the UI handling will change a bit.

Yes.
ATLAS hides the World Map, and does bring it back for the build-in tabs only.
An OnHide event handler would be better, but that's not Fyrakin's problem.
More scary is, that SetMapToPlayerLocation is blocked every second, even without any other addon.
I guess this is to follow the player?...

The 17th parameter in an item link is the crafted state, but that is the same place that: IsItemLinkCrafted(..) crafted gets its information from and it is 0 for crafted...

Yeah, what's worst is that it is the same quality as the junk ones from mobs, and it even has the same name! So it's impossible to set a filter for it.
A lot crafted potions have the same name but different traits. Same itemId, but a different bit-field at the end of the itemLink. If I remember right, cheap looted potions and crafte...

There are API functions for that. As I mentioned earlier, if they are used in a wrong time they can potentially mess up worldmap minimap and anything that relies on them.
One more thing. If you have messed up world map start using minimap it will "fix" world map if you don't use any other add-ons to break it.

Could you maybe add sort of a todo list for the fishing hole you're currently at? Like the fishing history, but maybe on the other side listing the rare fish you still need. This should be customizable, whether it would be displayed in the HUD and/or in the map.

I would suggest an additional "compact" mode. Currently each receipe has its own tooltip-line with its row-spacing. In compact mode receipes get grouped by favorite/non-favorite and each group is a single multi-lined tooltip-line. (table.concat(receipesOfGroup, "\n"))
