2. notice the quests at the bottom imperial city, main story etc... they have no sub quests below them but I DO have quests for them. why?

It is possible, though currently the tracker does not affect the map other than telling the map if the focused quest has changed, but I can certainly look into it.

My son asked me if I had made sure that it was not embedded into another file.
Well LO AND BEHOLD the older file had been embedded into another add on file.
SO I deleted the older file and reinstalled.
Worked like a charm.

I had the same issue again.
Updated to the old version
So I uninstalled the add on
IT STILL LOADs into game even though I deleted everything about the quest tracker manually and with minion.
CANNOT get it to remove or update to newer version.
Let me look really quick make sure I did not do anything wrong.

This just started happening. The quest will be selected, but no info is showing on the tracker. I've completed a few quests like this, where for certain steps, nothing is visible but the quest name. Currently I'm at the final stage for Madness in Eastmarch, and the one (and only) step listed in the journal is: Return to Alvur Baren....

some quests do not update until i log of and again on.
i saw it today with my char after i do the crafting dailys.
yesterday i see this on greenshade on another char doing a quest where you need to collect items.
only for info!!
One other person reported something similiar, I have not seen it personally....

Delete your SavedVars for pChat, should be good after that. I am not sure what causes this yet, it has been around since before I took over the addon.
I have tried 3 times. It corrupts every reload/logout. So I would have to delete the savedvars everytime I wanna play, which would mean setting up the settings again every time....

That is strange.
I just downloaded it again as well, and it comes up 1.4.5.23. The version you have in your screen shot (1.4.0.23) was the version that had the bad quest timer that I confirmed would do exactly what you described.

The game freezes up if you have the timer option turned on and get a timed quest.
I have duplicated this error 3 times.
Happened after finishing the first part of Trials of the Burnished Scales.
With option turned on game froze wont login until you remove your addon.
With Option turned off No issues.

Great add-on!
There is already a keybind to hide the tracker. Go to your Controls from the main menu.
