How do I access this addon in game? I can't find it anywhere. Do I need to type a / command to open its interface?
You can set up keybind to turn on/off the main window. Or there are 2 options for the window to be shown in your skill menu and/or when you open your inventory. You can set it up in your add-on list.

ps as for the usefulness that is in the eye of the beholder. I love SWAPS but I don't care/need gear changes just skills so it's perfect for my play-style.
Note: this statement is unproductive and just wrong so it seems swaps isn't very useful after all :/

EDIT: /dressingroom and then set ON the option for showing the interface when going to skills tab.

Is there any setting that has SWAPS save both skill bars, rather than just one? I use both bars in combat and swap between them for certain abilities.
I found this lacking as well; so it seems swaps isn't very useful after all :/

This addon can only be used to switch between the two active action bars, it CANNOT switch to a skill that is not already in one of the two active action bars, the addon will simply ignore the missing skill.... This sadly defeats the entire point of this addon. :(
