I haven't been able to reproduce any such issue and I run many add-ons myself.
My advice is to disable all your add-ons except FAB+, then re enable the other until you identify the incompatibility. Once the incompatibility is identified please let us know which other addon caused it.

Installing this addon will cause the game itself to fail and shut down. I really want to use it, but I can't.
