Weird. I went ahead and added a "--" in front of the "addon.print" functions to try and eliminate the "excessive messaging" warning I get when swapping skills. I no longer get any messages in the chat box but still get the "excessive" warning.
Must be more to it than just stopping the messages.

You can try clearing the Saved Variables, but not thinking that will have an impact on this. This issue was present in 2.3.4.0 and was corrected in 2.3.5.1 - So you are saying that the addon version as displayed in game is 2.3.5.1?

If the equipment level is deactivated in the settings the level is still shown at the equipped items (character screen). You need to unequip an item/equip a new item so the levels will be hidden.
Fixed. Also noted that this was occurring for the Item Condition option as well (also fixed). :D
