Trouble with where to install Addons

Admittedly,

I’m new to Elder Scrolls, and my C: drive was not large enough to install ESO so I installed the game on its own drive, it’s lettered “M:”

As a consequence, I have not been able to figure out where to

put my Addons, where do I create the "Elder Scrolls Online\live\AddOns\" ?

My C: drive or M: drive?

That leads to where / what drive to install Minion ??

Thanks so much!

Starting a poll is not really helping... :-)

The game does not need to be on the C drive.

For addons you will have to uninstall things from the C drive and move them to another drive that is not part of a cloud service. SSD, network or external drives are fine. The game will probably not be able to handle having the addons folder on another drive.

As for the question about how to make the folder, once you have sufficient space then the game will create it. Make sure you do not have OneDrive installed or active. If you do move everything from it to the M drive and uninstall or deactivate it. If you don't I doubt you will get this working easily and without issues that we won't be able to help with.

The base addons folder is your windows user's documents folder located at the c:\users\your windows username\documents directory.
If you want to move the addons fodler you need to move the windows documents folder, but there are several other programs using this so only move it if really necessary (the internet explains how to do this, e.g.: https://www.windowscentral.com/how-m...ive-windows-10 )

It also explains what Sharlikran wrote above: Disable OneDrive protection and sync with your users documents folder! ESO does not like that so better deactivate that.

The links I posted above describe how to find that folder.
The game will create the live/AddOns folder the time you start the game and login to the overland the first time!
You can also manually create the AddOns folder (case sensitive!) before that if you like to.
