Change Name of Addon

Just dawned on me that I can only change title of my Addon page.
Not name of my Addon..... ��

Howdie all,

saw the last time I uploaded an update to my addon that I can change the title.

Quite interested in that as I am not that happy with it anymore.

But wondering what repercussions this will have.

Will it break people's Minion install? Or will it still find it for those who already have downloaded it?

Changing the name or title on esoui will only impact the Minion and manually installed addons, if you change the folder and txt filename in the zip file afaik.
If you just change the displayed name within your internal addon tables from e. G. Advanced Whatever to Very advanced whatever, but the txt and folder name stay at AdvancedWhatever it shouldn't impact installed addons. That's how esoui patches for existing addons work. They overwrite the folder and files but show another description, title and name in the download lists e. G.
