Issue with mods

I had weirdest one issue with installed addons
im trying my best to explain it.
I have used minion always.
now i have this issue that, game cannot find my installed addons
though minion claims everything is fine.
i checked my addons folder in
Documents\Elder Scrolls Online\addons
everything is there
i can play the game fine
but no add ons show up.

My gameplay experience is ruined, sorry but i cannot roleplay with default settings
and ui chatting with people is hard
everything is hard with the ui.

game does not crash, works like charm. i have no idea what would cause this stuff.
should i try reinstall?
i dont want to download it again...

please msg back, into my email i prefer :):banana:
i have email notifications on for this thread i think.

I will play other games for while, but please let me get back to elder scrolls...
im played for thousands of hours skyrim morrowind oblivion.
i get my fix only from eso rn.

Regards, telvanni magister, grand mage. Slayer of vivec. Dragonborn. And Dragon:p

You have setup yopur profile to neither want to receive emails nor private messages so telling us to send an email is, well, useless then,
as we are not able to see nor send anything to you.

Please read this as it describes similar about Minion updating fine but addons not shown ingame.
Using the forum search with the search term "addon not showing" would have reveiled you similar threads.

Good luck, hope it works out for you with this information.

btw: Reinstallation of the game does not fix addon issues in 90% of the cases, imho. It could though, but I never achieved this with a re-install of ESO.

First I would try to make sure the Addons folder is in the proper place. Although I don't see why it would have moved.

Code:

C:\Users\[Your User Name]\Documents\Elder Scrolls Online\live\AddOns
Maybe Minion says everything is fine but Minion is configured to the wrong folder. Every mod should be in the folder I mentioned. If for some reason the folder location is incorrect and, you have to move the folder, then minion needs to be reconfigured so you can point it to the correct location. If there isn't an obvious way to reconfigure minion, there is this post.

Not sure where to start but if you verify your mods are in the folder mentioned, then verify that Minion points to the correct location as well and then load the game and see what happens.

It wasn't a dumb question at all. If you have it figured out then great, if not let us know. Have fun!

Summary so you do not have to read all the links:

Go ingame, create a sreenshot and watch the path name shown at the top right corner of the game, as you press the screenshot key.
This is the path where your addons also should be located in the subfolder AddOns.
Normally this will be:
c:\users\your user\documents\Elder Scrolls Online\live\AddOns but it can also be somewhere else.

Alternative find of your correct addon folder:
Login, play for 1 min, change a setting ingame in the vanilla game settings (E.g. naemplates), logout.
Search for the file AddOnSettings.txt or UserSettings.txt on your harddrives/SSDs and the file with the newest update date and time (the date and time you have currently played) will be the file which folder your game is using.
So there should be the AddOns folder where Minion or you update your addons to.
