ESOhead Site Updates?

How often is the site updated with new achievements and such added from patches?

I was going to post some info to the Craglorn Angler achievement page, but I don't see anything for Craglorn yet.

Heyas, I'm Calthine and I'm now the ZAM Admin for Esohead.

I've requested a data update for Esohead. Unlike many of our other sites, it's not an automated process and won't be instant. You should see an update soon(tm).

You are not forgotten: however, we've been having some issues, and are working on it.

Thanks for the news update! We hold on

Man, I wrote an awesome reply to this thread today and apparently forgot to hit "submit." Story of my life. So here's where we're at:

Since Esohead launched we've made vast improvements to the architecture of our sites. Esohead uses an older version which makes it problematic work on. Before we can go forward with anything, even data updates, the backend needs to be updated. It isn't a fast or simple process, but will be totally worth it in the end. I'm also hoping it might automagically take care of some outstanding issues.

Complicating things are the impending holidays, which grant us a couple of very short work weeks.

Long story short, you won't see any visible change on Esohead until after the turn of the year. It's already in progress, but it's not stuff y'all can see. I hate to even say it, you've been so patient, but you'll have to wait a little bit longer.

Poor Esohead hasn't been put out to pasture, not yet :) And for whatever it's worth, you've got me. And I have cookies.

Yay, cookies!

I'm willing to wait. If a site's going to sit well, it needs a solid back-end. :D (sorry, couldn't resist ;) ) Have a good holiday season!

Thanks for the awesome news Clathine! Waiting for the update.

have nice hollidays all of you!

edit:
may i still collect data via esohead addon for eso ingame? or will there be adiffrent version which makes my data useless?

Excellent question. I don't know, but I will hypothesize that your data will still be good. I'd rather you gathered it just in case!

Update: "After the turn of the year" has turned into Q1 2015. I don't have details. Working on it.

Calthine 01/19/15 01:20 PM

We are still not forgotten. Updates still slated for Q1 2015.

Calthine 01/20/15 10:55 AM

I don't get much entertainment over here in the basement with my red stapler. Did you see my other post? http://www.esoui.com/forums/showthread.php?p=18339

timidobserver 01/24/15 01:54 PM

I suspect that the F2P transition~> increases in ESO population/interest~> and increase in ESOHEAD hits~> increase in ads revenue, will get things moving.
