just thinking not 10 minutes ago: i wonder if anyone is developing a tool to manage all these addons? you're like Powdered Toast Man!
i am getting the exact same errors. running Win7 Ultimate 64bit, installed into the default locations and had no errors. launching the app gives the same three error messages. i have 7 MSVC++ packages ranging from 2005 8.0.61001 to 2010 10.0.40219. however instead of just uninstalling/reinstalling crap like that (which has led to more than one total reinstall in the last 15 or 20 years!) i wisely chose to read the whole thread...

by this do you mean something like NoScript for firefox?
if so, i am not really keen to shut it down! instead is there an address we can add to the exceptions lists?
i will disable the extension temporarily after this post and see if that fixes it.
