Seriously, when I saw this topic I thought it was another 'what things shouldn't we do with our addons' type of thread.
I like the discussion going on though. I actually like the idea of addons being able to share one settings menu entry but I can see where some people wouldn't find it as easy. I never originally planned on using LibAddonMenu to create a settings menu entry, but did so after requests from users (and my ineptness with adding things like slider controls to my own menu window.
