Just consider what is "Gameplay orientation". TESO one is based on "nervous game", "Gamepad game", "Few skills, strongs choices".
If you prefer "Lot skills, few choices", you can play to others games.
If it's a Learn to play issue, you got plenty of advices on official forums, or others more specialized ones.
