Error log without specific addon mentioned
I am receiving the following error log ever since i tried to log-in today. My addons are unchanged for days now and I am only having those issues today.
Can anyone make something out of this? Code:

Hi Irniben,
i deleted the suborder of LIBGPS in libGroupSocket. I still have an error message. Code:
user:/AddOns/LibGroupSocket/LibGroupSocket/LibGroupSocket.lua:15: [LibGroupSocket] Cannot load without LibGPS2 stack traceback: [C]: in function 'error' user:/AddOns/LibGroupSocket/LibGroupSocket/LibGroupSocket.lua:15: in function '(main chunk)' |caaaaaa<Locals> LIB_IDENTIFIER = "LibGroupSocket", lib = [table:1]{standalone = T}, LMP = [table:2]{MAP_PING_NOT_SET_PENDING = 1, MAP_PING_SET_PENDING = 2, MAP_PING_SET = 3, MAP_PING_NOT_SET = 0} </Locals>|r Code:
user:/AddOns/RaidNotifier/UltimateHandler.lua:11: function expected instead of nil stack traceback: user:/AddOns/RaidNotifier/UltimateHandler.lua:11: in function '(main chunk)' |caaaaaa<Locals> LGS = [table:1]{standalone = T, MESSAGE_TYPE_ULTIMATE = 21}, type = 21, version = 2 </Locals>|r Code:
user:/AddOns/LibGroupSocket/LibGroupSocket/handlers/ResourceHandler.lua:12: function expected instead of nil stack traceback: user:/AddOns/LibGroupSocket/LibGroupSocket/handlers/ResourceHandler.lua:12: in function '(main chunk)' |caaaaaa<Locals> LGS = [table:1]{standalone = T}, version = 2 </Locals>|r But how can i make both compatible? |

LibGroupSocket was not updated a longer time and stil uses the embedded LibGPS2.
But LibGPS3 exists meanwhile and should be used (maybe it's not compatible to LibGroupSocket, I don't know). Try this verison of LibGroupSocket: https://www.dropbox.com/s/15kje333hj...bStub.zip?dl=0 You will still need LibStub installed for LibGroupSocket And you need to install the following libs into live/AddOns as standalone installations of the dependencies: LibAddonMenu LibMapPing LibGPS v3 LibStub Hope it works and fixes your issues. If not, please write a comment to the LibGroupSocket addon comments or check there if the author already said it will be updated or not. If no: Remove it and the addons which use it, and install other addons that do similar stuff. Last edited by Baertram : 08/14/21 at 01:56 PM. |

DarkRuler2500, despite what everyone has said, the thing you need to do is find the mod causing the issue by disabling mods. Not your libraries but the mods.
Baertram and I frequently advocate for mod authors to stop embedding libraries with mods. Now Baertram did say that it is probably LibGroupSocket but you have been using all your mods for a while now. So I'm suggesting to be extremely sure you know which mod it is. The reason I'm saying you should be sure is because I use my own modified versions of things and I don't have any mods that use LibGroupSocket except for RaidNotifier. It would be better to get the authors to update their mods properly instead of a band-aid fix. Last edited by Sharlikran : 08/14/21 at 09:29 PM. |
