we have several addons for food & drink buff reminder. normally we use a table with the food and drink buff id's, because they are not the same like the item itselfs.
i can filter a lot of those food and drink buffs with
Code:
if(effectType == BUFF_EFFECT_TYPE_BUFF and statusEffectType == STATUS_EFFECT_TYPE_NONE and sourceType == COMBAT_UNIT_TYPE_PLAYER and beginTime ~= endTime)
EVENT_EFFECT_CHANGED
the funny thing i figured out:
- buffType is always ""
- abilityType food = 1 (ABILITY_TYPE_DAMAGE)
- abilityType drink = 0 (ABILITY_TYPE_NONE)
- abilityType some drinks/food = 5
doesn't make sense ;-)
manavortex made a good suggestion for this problem. is there any possibility to add something like:
BUFF_TYPE_XXX
XXX for:
- FOOD
- DRINK
and maybe more:
- MUNDUS
- ABILITY_PROC
- SET_PROC
- more?
that would be good for
EVENT_EFFECT_CHANGED and
GetUnitBuffInfo()
maybe you have another way to figure it out?
