Journal Quest Log

This is my first time trying to do an add-on to ESO. I am not tech inclined so please bear with me. I downloaded JournalQuestLog-1.3.8 and unzipped it ending up with the following files:
JournalQuestLog (text)
JournalQuestLog.lua
JQLCyrodiil.lua
JQLMissable.lua
JournalQuestLog.xml
JQLExclude.lua
I copied these 6 files to C:users>owner>documents>elder scrolls online>live>addons
Then I launched ESO through Steam>ZenimaxOnlineStudios>ElderScrollsOnline
The documentation stated I should see a tab in the lower left of the character login screen. Didn't see that. I checked to be sure Add-Ons was set to ON.

I'm not seeing anything of the Journal Quest Log. Where did I go wrong?

Thank you.

Hi,

the zip file contains a folder, normally called like the addon, e.g. "JournalQuestLog".
You need to extract that folder AND it's files and subfolders inside to documents/elder scrolls online/live/Addons !
Do not only extract the files alone.
Extract the whole folder, but beware that it does not create a new folder upon extraction called liek the zip file name!

Wrong:
/documents/elder scrolls online/live/Addons/JournalQuestLog-v1.3.8/JournalQuestLog/txt, lua and xml files here

Correct:
/documents/elder scrolls online/live/Addons/JournalQuestLog/txt, lua and xml files here

Each addon MUST have the folder and a .txt file with the same name as the foldername.

All described here too:
