Is it possible to change the search results of group finder?

I'm trying to make a addon to fix the growing ghost group problem in the group finder. It was at its worst before the last maintenance, when the finder accumulated more than a dozen ghost groups that could not be joined simultaneously.

But when I tried to implement the addon, I couldn't find a method in esoui that could be overridden to return a list of teams. Am I not searching correctly, or is this method not in esoui and can't be overridden? Has anyone else tried to implement something similar?
