Developing new Addon Managerq

Hello,

I am looking to develop a new Add-on Manager, similar to Minion, but I want to add a lot more features and do more with it. It'll be open source. How can I get the add-on data that I will need?

I had asked a moderator to mention to you, maybe in a PM, because the API is proprietary so you won't be able to develop one. You and everyone else will have to wait for Minion 4. I don't feel like searching for other threads but this has been asked between 5 and 10 times for certain. So there should be old threads that mention the API is proprietary.

How can I become part of the development team to get this out faster? Maybe they should consider making it open source.
