Exclamation Read this before posting in Wish List

The Wish List is a forum for addon authors to communicate their needs in regards to the games API to ZOS. If you are not an addon author, please refrain from posting to this forum! If you are a new addon author, consider asking other addon authors in the General Authoring Discussion forum first.

The list uses a few tags to keep it organized:
  • [open] - newly added wishes will get marked as open until their state changes
  • [rejected] - if an idea cannot be implemented for some reason, it is marked as rejected
  • [implemented] - once something has been added to the game it will get marked as implemented
  • [outdated] - if there is no reaction to a wish after a year, it will be marked as outdated and closed

This means until a wish has a clear outcome it stays open for up to a year.
Feel free to bump open wishes you feel are still relevant, or if you see an outdated wish just create a new thread and link to the previous one.

When posting a new wish, please keep the following things in mind:
  • Only one wish per thread - this is so the thread stays on topic and the tags can be applied properly
  • Show your use-case - Just writing "I need <this method>" is in most cases not going to sway ZOS to do anything. Fill in as many details as neccessary to make it understandable why you want something and why it cannot be solved differently.
  • Keep it short and concise - Real people with little time need to read your post. if it is a wall of text it might happen that some important parts get skipped
  • Stay nice and constructive - That's the only way to get anyone to listen to you
