So, I'd like to be able to keep track of players that I want to avoid, not do business with, ect without having to request that they allow me to add them to my friend list or add them to my ignore list.

To that end, would it be possible to create an addon that just stores people's name/account name and a note and adds some kind of asterisk or highlighting or something to their name when they type something in chat. It would also need to give me some kind of popup/warning if I am in a group or receive a PM from said person.

In game igonre list should be sufficient. You will not receive any messages, invites or anything else from ignored players.
